Moggill Reach Site - 2023

Term of Deployment: 4th April 2023 to 11th May 2023

This resource collects time series water physicochemical In-situ parameter readings, and water flow direction and speed, every thirty minutes. Quality control codes have been introduced to the data to assist with interpretation of the data.

Equipment is housed in a small yellow YSI DB600 type floating Buoy, anchored in position within the tidal zone approximately 4.0km from the mouth of the Bremer River, just below the Moggill Ferry crossing at Moggill. Position Lat 27 35’50.9S Long 152 51’35.0 E Datum GDA.

Water column depth at this position is approximately 5.0 meters.

Water Quality is measured by a YSI EXO3 mulitparameter sonde at 0.4m below the surface, which collects : Timestamp, Record, EXO_TempC, EXO_SpCondmScm, EXO_Salpsu, EXO_pHmV, EXO_pH, EXO_Depthm, EXO_BatV, EXO_ChlugL, EXO_ChlRFU, EXO_DOPerSat, EXO_DOmgL, EXO_BGAPERFU, EXO_BGAPEugL, EXO_TurbFNU, and EXO_TurbNTU data

Water Current is measured by an Aanderra 4000 series Z Pulse Doppler. Doppler Parameters measured/collected are: Timestamp, Record, DCS_Model, DCS_ Serial, DCS_ABSSpeed_Avg (UNIT cm/S), DCS_Direction_Avg, DCS_NorthCur_Avg, DCS_Heading_AVG, DCS_TiltX_Avg, DCS_TiltY_Avg, DCS_SPstd_Avg, DCS_SigStrenght_Avg, DCS_PingCnt_Avg, DCS_AbsTilt_Avg, DCS_MaxTilt_Avg, DCS_StdTilt_Avg.
