Gregory River - Buoy 2 - Quality - 2020
Collects time series physicochemical In-situ parameter readings every 10 minutes.
Parameters measured are; Timestamp, Record, Temperature Degrees C, Specific Conductivity mS/cm, Salinity_ ppt, pH , Dissolved Oxygen %Sat, Dissolved Oxygen _mg/l, Turbidity NTU, Chlorophyll a _ug/l, Battery Volts_V.
Yellow in colour, this is a floating 0.7 m diameter Buoy anchored within the tidal zone at approximately 5.2 Klm from the mouth of the Gregory River, Lat-20.16931 Long 148.464 Datum GDA.
Water column depth at this position is approximately 5.0 meters.
Readings are taken from a submerged YSI 6 series water quality measuring instrument Model 6600 at 0.2m below water surface. See YSI website for instrument accuracy, method of operation etc.
