Le Fevre 1 Station (Gaseous data) – 2021

Le Fevre 1 Air Quality monitoring station gaseous data

Created 16/10/2024

Updated 16/10/2024

This data set contains validated gaseous pollution data for the year 2021 for the North western Adelaide region in monthly files. Data was collected as 1 hour averages. Information provided is carbon monoxide values expressed in parts per million (ppm). Time expressed as Time Ending Averages.

Negative values occur from time to time and are a result of the extremely low concentration levels and the noise of the instrument. Sampling methods, standards and uncertainties: Carbon monoxide (CO) Gas Phase Correlation (GPC), AS3850.7.1 – 1992, U95= ±1.46 ppm @ 40 ppm.

Field labels: O3 UVA ppm – Ozone, NO Chemiluminescence ppm – Nitric oxide, NO2 calc Chemiluminescence ppm – Nitrogen dioxide calculated from NOx-NO, NOx Chemiluminescence ppm – Nitrogen oxides, SO2 UVF ppm – Sulfur dioxide, CO GPC ppm – Carbon monoxide.

For comparison to National Environment Protection (Ambient Air Quality) Measure (NEPM) standards, any average calculated from this data is only valid if it is based on at least 75% of the expected samples in the averaging period. This applies to all averaging periods. Further information on data availability and computing averages can be found in the National Environment Protection (Ambient Air Quality) Measure Technical paper No. 5 – Data Collection and Handling.
