RRC Bus Stops

Lineage: This Bus stop layer was derived from an open data GIS layer from Translink. This layer contained only the Rockhampton Bus stops. This layer has been expanded on to include all bus stops within the local government area. All bus stops have been validated by Council officers through field work and photographs and additional asset information was added to the layer. Council’s asset management system was also used in the validation process.

Positional Accuracy: The Position accuracy of the bus stops is of a high level of accuracy as it has validated through field work by Council officers. The validation process was initiated as a part of Councils revaluation process.

Attribute Accuracy: The attribute accuracy of the bus stops is of a high level of accuracy as its attributes were added in house by Aerial Imagery, QConnect Maps, Street View and the Asset Management System (Conquest) which contains photos of Bus Stops owned and maintained by Council.
