GENERAL WASTE BIN COLLECTION DAYS

Lineage: This bin days layer was digitised from hand drawn maps provide by the Rockhampton Regional Council Waste Department. It has undergone numerous revisions due to amalgamation / deamalgamation.

Positional Accuracy: This dataset consists of generalised areas that cover most urban areas. Spatial accuracy is average as a lot of the polygon cut through properties or do not cover them complete. This is intended as it designed as a generalised guide only and accounts for all future subdivisions/amalgamations of properties that fall within the polygons.

There is a high confidence in that the collections areas in relation to their collection days are correct.

Attribute Accuracy: The attribute accuracy of bin collection day is of a high level of accuracy as its attributes were added in house through consultation with RRC’s waste truck drivers.
