Change in ground cover levels
Mean ground cover in the late dry season (Spring; September–November) in the Natural Resource Management regions across Queensland, measured each year from 1987 to 2019. Ground cover is derived from 2 remote-sensing products, Fractional Cover and Persistent Green, using Landsat imagery from 1987 to 2015, and Sentinel-2 imagery from 2016 onwards. These products have been processed at a spatial resolution of 30m.
