Threatened Species Prioritisation Dataset - external

Created 04/05/2025

Updated 04/05/2025

The Threatened Species Prioritisation Framework external dataset was co-developed by CSIRO and DETSI and underpins the Threatened Species Decision Tool (TSDT). The TSDT allows users to access comprehensive threatened species information and create a shortlist of threatened species relevant to a specific decision making context. The TSDT can be accessed here: https://www.qld.gov.au/environment/plants-animals/conservation/threatened-species/resources/threatened-species-prioritisation-framework

The dataset includes information such as: species name, conservation status, species record and habitat location, recovery cost-effectiveness, threats and recovery actions. Information that may have been as ‘sensitive’ according to the ‘DETSI Information Security Classification Impact Assessment have been removed. Examples of this include any information which may identify the location of ‘confidential’ species or sensitive records.
