GLO GW Additional drawdown percentiles 20160809

Abstract

The dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme from multiple source datasets. The source datasets are identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.

Series of GLO ACRD drawdown percentile TIFF rasters, extracted class rasters and derived polygon footprint shapefiles for three quantiles (5, 50 and 95) and three drawdown depth thresholds (>= 0.2m, >= 2m and >=5m).

Purpose

Created to facilite GLO product 3-4 maps

Dataset History

Drawdown data in the aspatial source data for three quantiles (5, 50, 95) was appended to the assesment unit geometry and rasterised to TIFFS.

Areas conforming to three drawdon classes were extracted and vectorized into drawdown class polygon footprints.

Drawdown areas extracted for each quantile was:

dd >=2m

dd>=5m
