The Tertiary Student Travel Survey (TSTS) is a travel survey of tertiary students resident in south-east Queensland and enrolled at Griffith University, Queensland University of Technology, University of Queensland and the University of the Sunshine Coast. Not all campuses are included in the final database due to sample size limitations. A recruitment email was sent out by the university administration in each university to all students. Each registering student was randomly assigned a travel day of either 21, 22 or 23 October 2008. This database contains travel and demographic information for 2,904 students. The travel diary is for a 24 hour period. The survey was web-based with all information self-reported by respondents.
