This dataset contains detailed analysis and projections of Australian government receipts and payments over the forward estimates to 2018-19 and the medium-term to 2025-26, as published in the Parliamentary Budget Office's 2015-16 Budget: medium-term projections report.

The dataset allows users to:

  • better understand the factors that are leading to changes in the budget aggregates over the medium-term to 2025-26
  • supplement the budget forecast and projections contained in the 2015-16 Australian Government budget papers
  • access historical budget data on a range of budget aggregates.
