This dataset contains information on the ‘Status of Australian Fish Stocks’: - 406 stock status assessments were undertaken across the 120 species/species complexes. - Stocks comprised biological; jurisdictional and management unit with assessments undertaken at the biological stock level, wherever possible. - 324 stock status classifications could be assigned. The remaining stocks were classified as 54 undefined and 28 negligible stocks. - Of the 324 stock status classifications that could be assigned: 254 stocks were assessed as being sustainable; 29 stocks depleted; 23 stocks depleting; 18 stocks recovering.
