This dataset and its metadata statement were supplied to the Bioregional Assessment Programme by a third party and are presented here as originally supplied.

Shows the locations of species that are listed under the EPBC Act 1999 and have been recorded in the Biological Database of South Australia or the Atlas of Living Australia.

Current biodiversity data are available from the Atlas of Living Australia at http://www.ala.org.au/

Purpose

To indicate the locations of species that are listed under the EPBC Act 1999.

Dataset History

Dataset developed for the Lake Eyre Basin Bioregional Assessment: Context statement for the Pedirka subregion. The locational information for biological survey sites is collected in a number of formats, with older surveys in the pastoral region being read from maps at various scales (may be up to 1:250,000) and newer surveys using GPS.
