The dataset represents the extent and severity of wildfires on selected protected areas of Queensland during the 2019-2020 fire season. These selected areas are Lamington National Park, Main Range fire complex (Main Range National Park, Swanfels State Forest, Spicers Gap Road Conservation Park and Glen Rock State Forest), Mount Barney National Park, Bulburin National Park, Oakview fire complex (Oakview National Park, Oakview State Forest and Wratten National Park), Noosa National Park, Great Sandy fire complex (Great Sandy National Park/Cooloola Recreation Area, Cooroibah Conservation Park, Cooloola (Noosa River) Resource Reserve, Great Sandy Resource Reserve and Toolara State Forest).
