Abstract

This dataset and its metadata statement were supplied to the Bioregional Assessment Programme by a third party and are presented here as originally supplied.

Sustainable Diversion Limits (SDL) have been developed across Victoria and represent the upper limit on winterfall diversions, beyond which there is an unacceptable risk that additional extractions may degrade the environment. Combined with the volume of current extractions the SDL provides water managers with volume of available water in catchments across Victoria.

Purpose

The purpose of this dataset in Bioregional Assessments is to aggregate Surface Water Elements to Assets in the Asset database for Gippsland
