This polygon dataset shows the locations of Urban Bio Retention Basins, Lakes, Ponds and Wetlands in the Australian Capital Territory. These assets are either owned or managed by City Services, Transport Canberra and City Services Directorate (TCCS) and Parks and Conservation Service, Environment, Planning and Sustainable Development Directorate (EPSDD). Assets managed and / or owned privately, by other ACT Government Directorates or by the Federal Government may not be included.Attributes include location description, suburb, ownership, maintained by, asset sub type (Bio Retention Basin, Creek (Man Made), Retarding Basin Vegetation, River, Urban Lake, Urban Pond, Wetland), and surface area.These assets are captured and maintained in the asset database through the works as executed (WAE) handover process or field audits.For additional information, please see the relevant municipal infrastructure standard (https://www.cityservices.act.gov.au/plan-and-build/standards-codes-and-guidelines/municipal-infrastructure-design-standards-mis).
