Non Rated Species Reptiles - PED

Abstract

This dataset and its metadata statement were supplied to the Bioregional Assessment Programme by a third party and are presented here as originally supplied.

Shows the locations of non-rated species that have not been rated but have been recorded and maybe significant to it's relevant biotic group.

Current biodiversity data are available from the Atlas of Living Australia at http://www.ala.org.au/

Purpose

To indicate the distribution and effort for survey sites across the subregion.

Dataset History

Dataset developed for the Lake Eyre Basin Bioregional Assessment: Context statement for the Pedirka subregion. The locational information for biological survey sites is collected in a number of formats, with older surveys in the pastoral region being read from maps at various scales (may be up to 1:250,000) and newer surveys using GPS.
