Index to pensions created from Queensland State Archives Registers of Old Age Pension Claim. The records are held at Queensland State Archives. Old age pensions were paid by the Queensland Government from July 1908 when the "Old Age Pensions Act of 1908", 8 Edw VII no.6, came into force. In July 1909 the Commonwealth Government began paying old age pensions and payments by the state government appear to have ceased about June 1909.
