ABARES has produced a series of individual profiles of the agricultural, forestry and fisheries industries for 48 regions around Australia, together with 8 state and territory profiles. The regions are based on boundaries set by the Australian Bureau of Statistics. Each regional profile presents an overview of the agriculture, fisheries and forestry sectors in the region and the recent financial performance of the broadacre and, where relevant, dairy industries.

About My Region consists of the 56 profiles and a web site providing access. The web site contains: • a map allowing users to navigate to an area of interest and select to open the associated regional profile, and • a list of regions, organised by state that also link to the profiles.
