Antarctic Territorial Claims GIS Dataset. This dataset is based on data displayed on the map 'Antarctica' published in 1979. The map states 'The indication of boundaries on this map and the description of the areas within them are intended to agree with national legislation of the countries concerned but are not to be treated as evidence of the official views of the Government of Australia with respect to the national legislation of other countries.'

The dataset represents Antarctic Territorial Claims from the south pole to the Antarctic coastline for each nation.
