ACT (Upper Murrumbidgee) Sub-catchment Boundaries

Created 04/10/2024

Updated 04/10/2024

The Canberra region is located in the upper reaches of the Murrumbidgee River catchment; the Murrumbidgee is the main source of the region's water supply. This dataset shows boundaries of the sub-catchments within the Upper Murrumbidgee Catchment and ACT Water Management Areas (or catchment areas).

Accuracy: While all attempts are made to ensure the accuracy of this data, the boundaries shown are somewhat generalised for use in planning and thus may lack fine scale detail. The catchment boundaries in this map reflect topographical sub-catchments, but in some cases stormwater infrastructure will divert water from the edge of one catchment to a neighbouring catchment.Coordinate system: GDA2020 MGA z55
