ACTGOV Mature Tree 2020 Centre Points

Centre points of the mature tree crowns layer for the ACT. Tree crowns were derived from the 2020 LiDAR Canopy Height Model (CHM). Trees with crowns larger than 100m2 and taller than 8 metres were included. For more information, please see 2020 Mature Tree Crowns Dataset.Mature trees are those over 60-100 years old. Their hollows, branches, and canopy provide food, shelter and other services that younger trees cannot.
