All Basement Bores

Created 05/05/2025

Updated 05/05/2025

This dataset comprises boreholes used as an input to bore controlled residual gravity to map bedrock depth, basement structure and as indicator of basal aquifer thickness variation in Victoria. These boreholes have been used to give better control for analysing Free Air (FA) gravity data. The dataset was compiled by GHD to inform the report 'Potential Influences of Geological Structures on Groundwater Flow Systems' for DEPI's Secure Allocation Future Entitlements (SAFE) Project.
