Abstract

The dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme from the HUN Catchments dataset. The source dataset is identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.

Catchment areas for the main rivers and their main tributaries within the Hunter subregion. Defines the area in square kilometers for each of the following.

Pages Creek

Pages River

Goulburn River

Wollombi Brook

Macquarie Tuggerah:

Dataset History

Catchment area for the main rivers and their main tributaries within the Hunter subregion. Areas were reported in a table in the context statement and were calculated from the shapefile:

Hunter_Major_Tributaries_Projected.shp

The shapefile was derived for the Hunter catchments shapefile by aggregating selected catchments (listed below) and then projected according to the following information.
