Polygon data showing the heritage status of properties which are covered by the Heritage Overlay. Note that the data is a snapshot of all Heritage Overlays in force in 2012.

‘Victoria Heritage Register’ properties have State and/or National significance and protection.

‘Individual significance Heritage Overlay’ properties are of local significance and are protected through their own individual Heritage Overlay.

‘Included in HO Precinct individual significant’ properties are of local significance in their own right, but are protected through a precinct Heritage Overlay.

‘Included in HO Precinct contributory’ properties are contributory to a precinct that is locally significance and protected through a precinct Heritage Overlay.

‘Included in HO Precinct not significant’ properties are in a precinct Heritage Overlay but are not protected from demolition. Design controls still apply.
