CLM - Extent of Logan and Albert river alluvial systems

Created 06/07/2017

Abstract

The dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme from multiple source datasets. The source datasets are identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.

This shapefile shows the extent of the alluvial aquifers (including colluvium) within the Bremer River and Warrill Creek basins.

Dataset History

The shapefile is derived from Qld 1:100000 map sheets from the Geological Survey of Queensland (see lineage). The polygons for the alluvium and colluvium were extracted from the Qld surface geological mapsheet in ArcGIS and then combined into a new shapefile. Polygons were dissolved to create a boundary.
