Chill Hours

Created 12/10/2024

Updated 12/10/2024

A statewide grid surface (30m spatial resolution) delineating the average amount of chill hours where temperatures fall within 0 to 7C, for months May to August. This was calculated by totaling the number of hours that were within the 0 - 7C range and averaging the yearly total over a 20 year climate period.

Three datasets are available for this parameter representing recent climate to 2018 (ch_0to7_0105to3108) and projected climate - based on Climate Futures for Tasmania (CFT) modelling - at 2030 (ch_0to7_0105to3108_2030) and 2050 (ch_0to7_0105to3108_2050).
