Citizen Experience Survey Aggregate Data

The Citizen Experience Survey (the Survey) is a regular, national survey measuring public satisfaction, trust and experiences with Australian public services.

This dataset provides trust, satisfaction and experience Survey results across a variety of indicators.

The Survey baseline was established in March 2019, surveying approximately 5,000 Australians. Since March 2019, a further 4 Survey waves have been conducted, June 2019, November 2019, February 2020 and June 2020, each surveying approximately 2,500 Australians.

The Survey does not measure trust or satisfaction in Government, nor does it measure satisfaction with policies. The scope of the survey is strictly limited to measuring trust, satisfaction and experiences with services and service delivery of Australian public services.

Participation in the Survey is voluntary and information collected is anonymous and de-identified. The Survey is nationally representative of age, state/territory and gender. Survey participants consent to the publication of results in aggregate.

When reporting Citizen Experience Survey data, the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (or PM&C) must be attributed as the source.
