CCTV camera monitoring system which includes 40-plus cameras in the CBD which record 24/7. The cameras are monitored by council staff at peak times.These staff are in two-way radio communication with police officers – as well as other stakeholders such as nightclub operators and taxi operators - to alert them to any incidents or potential incidents.

The screens are located at Geelong Police Station so that officers can monitor them at anytime.
