This record describes the datasets from Courageous Cruise 003, the second in a series of acoustic and trawl surveys for Jack mackerel (Trachurus declivis) and other demersal and pelagic fish. The survey was conducted between October and November 1975 off the New South Wales, Victoria and east Tasmania coast between Sydney and Hobart. Species recorded in trawls included jack mackerel, morwong, tiger flathead, hake, mirror dory, ling, snoek, and spur dogfish.
