Queensland Reconstruction Authority conducted Damage Assessment and Reconstruction Monitoring (DARMSys) audits of residences in the Cassowary Coast and Hinchbrook Shire Council area following Severe Tropical Cyclone Yasi, 2 February 2011. The event was a severe tropical cyclone which commenced on 2 February 2011 in North Queensland. This dataset contains summary counts per Locality and Local Government Area of the damage severity of residences surveyed. 4 surveys were undertaken and all surveys are in the dataset (phase 1 June and September, 2011, phase 2 November, 2011, phase 3 February, 2012 and phase 4 May, 2012).
