Damage Assessment and Reconstruction...

Queensland Reconstruction Authority conducted Damage Assessment and Reconstruction Monitoring (DARMSys) audits of residences in the Sunshine Coast, Gympie, and Noosa Shire Council area following North Coast Storms & Flooding & East Coast Hybrid Low, 24 February – 7 March 2012. The event was a severe thunderstorm, heavy rainfall and localised flooding originating from an upper low moving across South East Queensland, from 24 February - 7 March 2012.

This dataset contains summary counts per Locality and Local Government Area of the damage severity of residences surveyed. 2 surveys were undertaken and all surveys are in the dataset (phase 1 May 2012 and phase 2 August 2012).
