Queensland Reconstruction Authority conducted Damage Assessment and Reconstruction Monitoring (DARMSys) audits of residences in the Townsville Council area following Heavy Rainfall & Flooding, Northern & Far Northern Queensland 15 March 2012. The event was a heavy rainfall and flooding as a result of a monsoonal trough situated over the far southern Gulf of Carpentaria on 15 March 2012. This dataset contains summary counts per Locality and Local Government Area of the damage severity of residences surveyed. 2 surveys were undertaken and all surveys are in the dataset (phase 1 June, 2012, phase 2 September, 2012).
