This is a deep learning derived dataset indicating forested regions in the South-West of WA. Model produced from Sentinel 2 satellite imagery incorporating 11 multispectral bands resampled at a 10m resolution. Classes indicate native vegetation forests and exotic vegetation plantations. Training data for this model has been compiled by utilising existing datasets Native Vegetation Extent (DPIRD-005) and Forest Products Commission Plantations (FPC-001). This data was collected within the Swan Coastal Plain. Results may degrade significantly in IBRA regions further East. Please read supporting documentation for more information on this.
