This dataset shows whether Local Government Areas (LGAs) in Queensland are fully, partly or not drought-declared.Drought declarations are made by the Minister for Agricultural Industry Development and Fisheries based on the advice of Local Drought Committees (LDCs). LDCs will recommend a declaration when an area meets the Queensland Government's drought criteria; principally a one in 10 year rainfall deficiency, amongst other significant factors.Additionally, there may be a number of Individually Droughted Properties (IDPs) outside the shires shown.
