The dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme by clipping the Victoria - Seamless Geology 2014 dataset (GUID: 2872d02e-66cb-42b6-9e5a-63abc8ad871b) to the Gippsland Basin bioregion Project Boundary dataset (GUID: 2872d02e-66cb-42b6-9e5a-63abc8ad871b). The dataset shows the surface geology of the Gippsland Basin Bioregion at 250k scale.

Dataset History

This dataset was created using the 'Extract by Mask (Spatial Analyst)' tool within ESRI ArcMap 10.2 to clip the layer geology GeolUnit_250k_py.shp (from dataset Victoria - Seamless Geology 2014 GUID: 2872d02e-66cb-42b6-9e5a-63abc8ad871b), to the Gippsland Basin bioregion Project Boundary dataset (GUID: 2872d02e-66cb-42b6-9e5a-63abc8ad871b).
