A restricted data set identifying the locations of Residue Management Notices from the Pesticide Residue Elimination Management Information System (PREMIS). The PREMIS data has a spatial component of known areas of chemical residues left over from organochlorine sprays that were phased out in the 1980s. These areas have an existing Residue Management Notice that places restrictions on the use of land. The notice is issued where land has chemical residues in the soil that could result in a risk of residues in livestock grazed on that land.
PREMIS data is made available to Landgate for inclusion in Property Interest Reports. Contact the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development for further information.
