As part of the HyLogger campaigns conducted by Primary Industries and Resources South Australia (PIRSA) in 2003-04 and 2004-05 a selection of signature diamond cored drill holes from the Olympic Domain IOCG province in South Australia were scanned to determine spatial patterns in their alteration mineralogy. Using Emmie Bluff SAE6 as a type hole it was empirically determined that Cu mineralisation can be spatially related to white mica chemistry and the distribution of Fe/Mg chlorite. These trends were found to be transferable to other sites. The PowerPoint presentation provides summary diagrams for a number of these drill holes.
