Abstract

This dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme. The parent dataset is identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.

This dataset provides a cartographic layer to mask out features which lie outside the Galilee subregion.

Purpose

This dataset is for cartographic use only.

Dataset History

The following steps were followed to produce the polygon shapefile within this dataset:

  1. An arbitrary rectangular shapefile was created with the following extent.

    N: -1844510.18163134m

    W: -138097.887071875m

    E: 1146634.02594108m

    S:-3121319.99758227m

  2. Using the 'Erase' tool in ArcGIS (System Toolboxes > Analysis Tools > Overlay), the Galilee subregion (Bioregional Assessment areas v06, GUID: 54d7cc96-5129-450a-aef4-73197f9bc09d) was cut from the rectangular polygon
