Geospatial boundary data for Employment Service Areas (ESAs) 2013+ (Disability Employment Services).

The ESA geospatial boundary were initially developed prior to 2009, primarily based on grouping Australian Bureau of Statistics Statistical Local Area boundaries. Following the introduction of the Community Development Programme (CDP, formerly Remote Jobs and Communities Programme) on 1 July 2013, it took responsibility for Employment Services in remote areas. As a result some ESA boundaries changed and some ESAs were removed, to exclude remote areas. On 1 July 2015 the jobactive program (formerly Job Services Australia) changed from using ESA to Employment Region boundaries. Further information about the jobactive program is available from the Department of Employment website (https://www.employment.gov.au/jobactive). The jobactive Employment Region maps are available from the National Map website (https://nationalmap.gov.au/) (Add data > Data.gov.au > Department of Employment > Employment Regions 2015-2020).
