Australia's protected areas, Collaborative Australian Protected Areas Database (CAPAD) 2022, andAustralia's bioregions, Interim Biogeographic Regionalisation of Australia (IBRA) Version 7
You can use this tool to:
Map and obtain information about protected areas and bioregionsQuery the CAPAD dataset using filters and check summary statistics for different slices of the dataCheck the extent to which bioregions are protected for biodiversity
The tool also provides some additional information that might be useful including full descriptions of IBRA regions, full descriptions for International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) protection categories and names for protected area managing authorities.
