A dataset depicting the coastal and marine features within and adjacent to the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage Area, including the mainland, islands, reefs, cays and rock boundaries. The dataset was created under specific contract for the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority (GBRMPA) by AUSLIG in 1984 with subsequent updates performed by GBRMPA. The dataset was created to show the location and boundaries of specific features within and adjacent to the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage Area, located off the coast of Queensland, Australia.
