Gully erosion refers to areas affected by erosion channels (more than 30 cm deep) originating from natural watercourses or artificial drainage features. Mapping shows the proportion of land affected by gully erosion, while detailed proportion data are supplied for calculating total areas affected (spatial data statistics).
