The 'Facility for Automated Intelligent Monitoring of Marine Systems' (FAIMMS) is a facility of the Australian 'Integrated Marine Observing System' (IMOS) project. This data set was collected by the FAIMMS Great Barrier Reef Sensor Network and contains data from the following sensor deployments:

There have been 3 deployments for the Water Pressure data set.

Instrumentation was deployed for measuring Water Pressure at 6.1m from 19 Dec 2009 through to 02 May 2010, and the installation was located at/on Orpheus Island Relay Pole 2 Latitude:-18.56747 - Longitude:146.48827. Sensor deployed was a Seabird SBE39-IM manufactured by Sea-Bird Electronics, Inc., model SBE39. The following comment was recorded regarding this deployment - 'Orpheus Island RP2 SeaBird SBE37 Pressure Sensor mounted at Station One 50m from the pole [Tue Feb 05 09:29:01 EST 2013 : Data from 1990-01-10T00:00:00.000+1000 to 2009-12-19T17:02:00.000+1000 was deleted by greg with comments out of water]'.

Sensor deployed was a Seabird SBE39-IM with Pressure manufactured by Sea-Bird Electronics, Inc., model 39IM. The following comment was recorded regarding this deployment - 'added by auto deploy'.

The following comment was recorded regarding this deployment - 'added by auto deploy [Wed Feb 20 15:27:05 EST 2013 : Data from 2011-03-20T03:30:00.000+1000 to 2013-02-20T23:59:00.000+1000 was deleted by Greg with comments tail]'.

The following comment was recorded regarding this deployment - 'Orpheus Island RP2 SeaBird SBE37 Conductivity Sensor mounted at Station Two 100m from the pole [Tue Feb 19 15:39:18 EST 2013 : Data from 2010-03-26T11:40:00.000+1000 to 2013-02-19T11:40:00.000+1000 was deleted by Greg with comments all the same]'.

The following comment was recorded regarding this deployment - 'added by auto deploy'.

Sensor deployed was a Seabird SBE37-IM MicroCat CTD with Pressure manufactured by Sea-Bird Electronics, Inc., model 37IMP. The following comment was recorded regarding this deployment - 'added by auto deploy'.
