The 'Facility for Automated Intelligent Monitoring of Marine Systems' (FAIMMS) is a facility of the Australian 'Integrated Marine Observing System' (IMOS) project. This data set was collected by the FAIMMS Great Barrier Reef Sensor Network and contains data from the following sensor deployments:

Instrumentation was deployed for measuring Salinity at 19.7m from 14 Nov 2012 through to 17 Oct 2013, and the installation was located at/on Rib Reef Sensor Float 1 Latitude:-18.469325 - Longitude:146.872014. Sensor deployed was a Seabird SBE37-IM MicroCat CTD with Pressure manufactured by Sea-Bird Electronics, Inc., model 37IMP.

Instrumentation was deployed for measuring Salinity at 20.0m from 07 Jun 2015 through to 15 Mar 2016, and the installation was located at/on Rib Reef Sensor Float 1 Latitude:-18.469325 - Longitude:146.872014. Sensor deployed was a Seabird SBE37-IM MicroCat CTD with Pressure manufactured by Sea-Bird Electronics, Inc., model 37IMP.
