'Ships of Opportunity' (SOOP) is a facility of the Australian 'Integrated Marine Observing System' (IMOS) project. This data set was collected by the SOOP sub-facility 'Sensors on Tropical Research Vessels' aboard the RV Solander Trip 5008.
Instrumentation was deployed for measuring Fluorescence at 1.9m on trip 5008 from 25 Feb 2010 through to 25 Feb 2010, and the installation was located at/on RV Solander. Sensor deployed was a Wet Labs FLNTU-RT Optical sensor (Turbidity and Fluorescence) manufactured by Wetlabs, model FLNTU-RT.
Instrumentation was deployed for measuring Salinity at 1.9m on trip 5008 from 25 Feb 2010 through to 25 Feb 2010, and the installation was located at/on RV Solander. Sensor deployed was a SBE 21 conductivity cell manufactured by Sea-Bird Electronics, Inc., model SBE 21.
