Method of last resort (MOLR) long term average annual recharge estimates across Australia

ARCHIVED

Created 20/01/2025

Updated 20/01/2025

This dataset (and the derivative 95% confidence interval for upper and lower datasets) were created by CSIRO and provides a spatial coverage of estimates of the long term average annual recharge estimates across Australia. It is based upon regression equations between soil order, vegetation type and long term average annual rainfall. More details on the method used to estimate this dataset are provided in the report: Leaney et al (2011) Recharge and discharge estimation in data poor areas: Scientific reference guide.
