Mobile Black Spot Program - Round 4 Funded Base Stations

The Australian Government’s $380 million Mobile Black Spot Program will deliver improved mobile coverage to regional and remote Australia. Round 4 of the Program will deliver 180 new mobile base stations to be deployed by Telstra and Optus. The construction of base stations under Round 4 of the Program commenced in 2019. The rollout sequence is determined by Telstra and Optus based on various factors including obtaining local government planning approvals.
