National Estate species with disjunct ranges consist of two grid layers - 1 for fauna and 1 for flora.

National Estate flora and fauna species with disjunct ranges are species with highly specific habitat preferences and low powers of dispersal such as frogs and reptiles, species with documented isolated populations within the region, and species associated with fragmented habitat, primarily rainforest. These species were identified by experts and through literature review.
