Created 07/06/2025

Updated 07/06/2025

Jacobs have been commissioned by Armidale Regional Council (formerly Guyra Shire Council) to undertake an assessment of flood behaviour in the township of Tingha. Flooding in Tingha is generally a result of runoff from the Copes Creek catchment and its tributaries including Darbys Creek, which joins Copes Creek immediately to the east of the town, and Copes Harding Creek which joins Copes Creek immediately upstream of Guyra Road.
