This document describes the systematic approach to vegetation mapping that has been developed by the Office of Environment and Heritage (OEH). The State Vegetation Map is intended to show the distribution of as many as possible of the approved list of NSW Plant Community Types (PCTs) across NSW in a consistent manner and at a regional level of detail.
